Violet

Hello, Happy New Year! 2012 was pretty good for me, all in all. One of the big reasons being I started this blog, and became friends with a lot of awesome people online who inspire me. I also learned a lot about feminism and became very passionate about it. I feel like I have a stronger sense of self now. Yay for the internet (though I hope to cut down the amount of time I spend on tumblr)!

I got this fantastic second hand jumper, ahh I love it. Crown is crafted (when this happened - another good memory, thanks to the internet, from 2012).

You can't really tell but it's sparkly too, there are little silvery threads woven through it!



These shoes are also second hand, apparently they used to be dance shoes, they have little cut-out stars on the side, they're so cute! I got the tights for Christmas.

And the purse and ring are new as well. The purse is from H&M and the ring is second hand. They're both more sparkly in person.

 

I added to this little shrine/altar shelf on New Years Eve.



 Zine from Hollie (I recommend it), some little unicorn and angel figurines, lots of dried flowers, candles, a tiara, etc.


 The pink fuzzy thing is a fake fur collar from H&M. Also Lula, Rookie Yearbook One, some flower crowns, that purse again, my grandmother's old pearls, some vintage photographs from a second hand store (which are so cute I wish you could see them better. I was going to put them in my journal/a collage but I love them too much), grrrl flowers, Hole logo...

I was too lazy to scan it but here is a journal page with some of my inspiration for January, you can't really read it but oh well.

A day planner to which I added glitter and stuff for witchiness in an attempt to promote actual usage and organization.
